nVideoCONFERENCES (a division of nVideoNOW) is a proud sponsor of a host of small business, job fairs and veteran extravaganzas. This conference will impact a host of veterans and their family members, job candidates & small business owners, including start-ups, home based businesses, contractors, consulting firms, merchandisers, service providers and many more.

In May 2010, Community & Veterans Job Fair at the Show Place Arena, Upper Marlboro, Maryland more than 40 employers searched for qualified job candidates.  The job fair was a huge success.  Employers ranked job candidate qualification, interviewing skills, professionalism and overall skill matches superior to other job fairs in the local Washington, D.C. metropolitan area job fairs.  The high ranking of job candidates can be directly contributed the pre-training Job Candidate Certification (JCC) job training.   More than 45% of the 2,175 job candidates attended certification training prior to attending the job fair.

Several employers expressed the high level of candidate matches as well.  This can be directly contributed to the pre-screening processes of nVideoJOBS.

In May 2009, "Light Up Washington" (District of Columbia) moved to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center Washington, DC where more than 100 exhibitors showcased their wares and 1,700 small business owners attended. 600 plus candidates applied for positions with 100 successfully employed.  Over 1,000 persons attended 24 seminars and more than 165 small business owners, government officials and private industry firms were present for the "Light Up Washington" Awards and Recognition Luncheon.

In August 2007, the conferences humble beginnings started with "Light Up Washington" at the Show Place Arena located in Upper Marlboro, MD where more than 350+ exhibitors showcased their wares and over 4,000 small business owners from Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania contributed to its success.  The show highlights included more than 10 million dollars in give-aways from local merchants and over $15,000 in student scholarships were distributed.
