One of Washington's most respected and durable broadcast journalists and the DC market's first female news anchor, JC Hayward recently celebrated her 36th year at WUSA 9 NEWS NOW, a feat achieved by only one other female anchor in the United States.

JC currently anchors 9 NEWS NOW at Noon and co-produces weekly "JC and Friends" pieces that air on the station's 5pm newscast.

A special "JC and Friends" program won the 2007 Emmy for Outstanding Community Affairs Special.

nVideoCONFERENCES (a division of nVideoNOW) is proud sponsors of a host of annual small business and job candidate conferences.  These conferences will impact a host of job candidates & small business owners including start-ups, home based businesses, contractors, consulting firms, merchandisers, service providers and many more.   The conferences are designed to empower and stimulate growth for small businesses and to provide employment to the unemployed.  

Our conferences present a remarkable opportunity for job seekers and community based businesses to market themselves to a widespread, diverse and influential audience.  This is an incredible forum that puts resume or businesses in front a large group of difference makers whom we might not otherwise reach.

What is "LIGHT UP" - Each conference is dubbed "LIGHT UP (the host city name)". These community based  conferences are designed to compliment local meetup groups, membership organizations, educational facilities and workforce organizations. 

Conference History
In May 2010
, Community & Veterans Job Fair at the Show Place Arena,  Upper Marlboro, Maryland more than 40 employers search for qualified job candidates.  The job fair wa a huge success.  Employers ranked job candidate qualification, intervieing skills, professionalism and overall skill matches superior tin comparison to other job fairs in the local Washington, D.D. metropolian area job fairs.  The high ranking of job candidates can be directly contributed the pre-training Job Candidate Certification (JCC) job training.   More than 45% of the 2,175 job candidates attended certification training prior to attending the job fair. 

Several employers expressed, the high level of candidate matches as well.  This can be directly contributed to the pre-screening processes of nVideoJOBS. 

In May 2009
, "Light Up Washington" (District of Columbia) moved to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center Washington, DC where more than 100 exhibitors showcase their wares and over 1,700 small business owners attended, over 600 candidates applied for positions with 100 successfully employed, over 1,000 persons attended 24 seminars and finally more than 165 small business owners, government officials and private industry firms were present for the "Light Up Washington" Awards and Recognition Luncheon.

In August 2007, the conferences humble beginnings started with "Light Up Washington" (Upper Marlboro, MD), venue the Show Place Arena llocated in Upper Marlboro, MD where more than 350+ exhibitors showcase their wares and over 4,000 small business owners from Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania contributed to its success.  The show highlights included more than 10 million dollars in give-aways from local merchants and over $15,000 in student scholarships.
